Big Drawers Furniture in Norfolk, Virginia, is the first and only custom furniture company that specializes in building handmade, one-of-a-kind furniture to fit YOU. We build beautiful, solid wood chests of drawers for large people or for people of any size who have a lot of clothes that just wont fit into standard-sized drawers.

We also do custom build-in furniture such as bookcases, vanities, entertainment centers and offices. If you are looking for an entire room of custom furniture whether it is for the bedroom, dining room or office, we can work from your ideas or sketches, incorporating your choice of woods and styles.

This isnt just any furniture. Our furniture is lovingly crafted from the finest woods from all over the world, much of it harvested from managed timber forests or recovered from old buildings. We design our pieces in a contemporary look, trimmed with traditional styling, for an overall appearance that is timeless and fits most décor. This is furniture that you will want to cherish for a lifetime and hand down to your heirs.

While we have a few pieces in stock, we prefer to work directly with you so that we can provide you with exactly the piece you want and need for the space you have. Give us a call or send us an email with your ideas and well get back to you right away. • thanks for a cool video

  • Really nice video, got here via ABC news. Your product looks great and I do know that a solid wood multi generational airloom piece overall is actually cheaper than the imported flake board and such. I was impressed with what you said you are in contact with tree people. Do you do your own milling and drying of lumber? I know years ago small lumber mills could be found in Virginia and rural America but I was wonddfing if you did that. If you do that would be an interesting video.

  • loved the video, hope there are more to come!
