Full life cycle of the 5 June 2009 Goshen County/LaGrange, Wyoming Tornadoes.
Filmed (Standard Definition dash mounted camcorder) from two elevated vantage points.
A brief tornado (0:19 - 0:20) is followed by the 25 minute life cycle of the 'main' tornado - shown here compressed to just over three minutes. Even when rain-wrapped, the condensation funnel is visible for all but a few brief moments (and it appears that it became quite wide during the rain-wrapped phase).
Visible (briefly) are John Moore (Arizona), Linda Kitchen (Arizona), and Ken Dewey (University of Nebraska-Lincoln).
We followed this Supercell for about another four-and-a-half hours - what a show!
Score "Why Not Wyoming?" written/recorded by Patrick Kerrin (keyboards), copyright 2010.
