Totally agree with you, I grew up listening to the great bands of the 80's and the Alarm were one of my favourites. You would buy the album and literally study the sleeve notes album cover etc while listening to every track. Nowadays we dont "seem" to have time. Agree with you that we were lucky to be able to listen and appreciate great music from great bands.

Back in "the day" we would wear out cassette tapes playing songs from The Alarm!!! Awesome then...still is!

I was at the time as good as Bono. The luck and creativity was on U2 side. Too bad !

YAEE YOOO!! pretty sure this is the show I saw them at. One of my favorite memories of all time. Was about 16 at the time saw a comercial on mtv for a free concert at ucla. Wasn't too familiar with the band but a free show? Me and 2 close friends hauled ass down their in the middle of the night and slept on the lawn in order to get good positions. ONE OF THE BEST live shows I'd ever seen I was an instant fan

This band was in Finland about -84, we were together perhaps in Turku (also at hotel, heh) - that Gaz from MTV was also there HAAHHHHAAAAA...
