On display at the Tokyo Game Show and tentatively titled Family Trainer: Athletic World in Japan, and Active Life: Athletic World for Western markets. The game uses a custom mat controller in conjunction with the Wii controls and features a series of active minigames. The games include: River Rapid, where the player must paddle and jump to steer their boat through the river. Log Jump Runner, where the player moves by running on the spot, jumping over logs and using the remote to move left and right. A two player versus game called Log Jumper where to beat your opponent you must jump over the logs that will drop from the sky. And a two player cooperative game called Mine Cart Adventure, where players have to work together to turn left and right, run up hills and jump over falling logs. More games are currently in the development process. Bandai Namco will release this energetic Wii game in 2008.

  • the comentator sounds like a tamed buda

  • The Power Pad used in this game was actually created before the DDR Mat.

Family Trainer was a NES game back in the 80's. Pre-dates DDR by a long shot actually.
