I always wanted to pay the accordian, i bought one from Tom Rose a few years ago, my first song i learned to play was The Tiny Red Light, i love that song, i never meant your dad but i always loved his music and i remember when he wrote the song after you. I am from Seal Cove Fortune Bay and now live in Halifax. He was a great man and his music will live forever.

This song makes me proud to say I'm a true blood newfoundlander. Wandalee, it is because of men like your father that Newfoundland can be appreciated nation wide, and I respect that. This is an amazing song, and the lyrics are absolutely touching.

The good times, good food, Blue Star beer, and, most of all, the beautiful people of Salvage, Newfoundland who became my lifelong family and friends..

I don't know why this shows a picture of Harry Hibbs on the cover? Johnny Drake from the Doreymen is singing this song. He is my Dad and I'm very proud of him & miss him very much!

yes it is john drake your dad he was the one off the best singers ever come out off newfoundland i can remember my dad coming home and playing his music when i was a kid sorry to hear your dad passed away i still play and love his music today and all the songs he wrote and sang we all awesome so takecare and nice to see you on here wandalee
