Portal Camera Shy Achievement Walkthrough

Here's a walkthrough for the Camera Shy Achievement for Portal. As proof, I get it at the end of the video.

FAQ

Q: What about the cameras on black walls?
A: You DO NOT have to get the cameras that are mounted on black walls. Those do not count toward the achievement. Besides, you can't knock them down anyways...

Q: Do you have to play through the game in order, or can you start up the game by level where the cameras are?
A: Not to my knowledge, and after someone tried to do that, no...

Q: How did you record it?
A: This is on a PC, and I used FRAPS.

I dont get it...

i'm pretty sure that i got all the cameras showed in this video, yet there's 4 more cameras to go! what the hell's up with that?

my guess is that the four hidden cameras in chamber who-knows-what need to be thrown into the fire pit. i'll be tesing that out tomorrow...

@evowarrior5 The cameras in the video are all the one you have to knock down to get the achievement. There are other cameras in portal, but those have a black background where portal can't be placed, and therefore can't be knocked down...

I completed the WHOLE game again yesterday and I missed 2 camera, I did this today and I finally did it and I was so happy just as I was about to get the last camera and then this came up on the bottom of the screen 'Camera Shy - 5G'

I knocked down all the cameras but didn't happen anything... If I knock down the cameras and after I change chamber I don't recive the achievement, right?

@DunderMifflinInf You have to play the game over for any achievement if you want to get them all. =/

You could probably do several achievements at a time if you're attentive enough, and are willing to take the time. But some require relapsing.

Thanks for this, I had missed the last two, I couldn't figure out which two I missed, but the last two are in an area where I got stressed over timing those platforms and totally forgot to check for cameras.
