at The Mall, Huntsville, AL 1994. This
fountain and mall were built in 1966 and torn down for a new shopping center
in the late 1990's. The fountain itself was refurbished and is now located in the traffic circle between Home Depot and Costco.
I miss this mall. I would have given anything to be able to take my kids here as my parents took me!

When I was growing up in the mid-70s that was THE place to shop.
My brother got a suit there at Bill's about 1981.

Only in America do they pay a crew to tear down buildings built to last 1,000's of years, then put up junk that's not even half as good due to budget constraints. What a waste. Something's wrong with this.

this was demolished way before I moved here, but I think the pictures of this mall and this video are pretty cool. It's so dark in that mall, it's kind of romantic
