Top stuff. My parents used to go see the Watersons at the Olde Blue Bell in Hull where this is filmed in the 60's. I do an accompanied version of the Watersons Swarthfell Rocks - check it out on my channel.

got a chance to see Louis Killan a couple times in St. Paul before he went back East - was still great 40 years later

A wonderful family ... but it's sad to see so many of them with a fag in their hands ...
-
great footage, although a bit smokey for moden tastes, you can smell the nicotine
-
Can this documentary be seen in full anywhere?
-
Was just about to post something similar - they're freakishly alike, even for mum and daughter!
-
That would probably be Charlie Bate of Padstow

@TheMarkWaterson Your grandad is a bit of a dark horse eh ? Check out Land of Green Ginger, there is a clip of them performing for a TV play in 1972.

After watching this it's occurred to me that Bert Jansch must have sold his soul to the devil, not just for his astounding guitar work but also for being with Anne Briggs, to have been with someone as amazing (on every level, it seems) as she. Bert, when the time comes call Daniel Webster. He may be able to swing you a deal.

Nice to see this, but what a surprise seeing a young Norma. Her daughter Eliza is an absolute double.
