You know that we (the teenagers...most of them are in thier early 20's) flipped on a rock near the shore at about mile 12. It was good for them. My oldest son was on one of younger boats and he rowed in 2005.
You should see the Pierce Ferry rapid. I'd rate it in the top 10 for difficulty of run.
If you get me your email I'll send you a couple of pictures of my run at House Rock and Crystal
We were the Flagstaff group you met at Havasupai, then passed you at mile 202. We took about the same line, but we weren't brave enough to let the boat do a "Ghost" run. Did you try to run any boats left?
I got tossed from my boat for the first time at House Rock...Might be able to get video up sometime.
Looks like Caitlin didn't even notice at first that Jeff was tossed! haha! I'm glad you were all ok :)

Two of our boats ran left, it looked a bit technical, but no problems. I am impressed that you got all those teenagers through Lava without mishap.

It was very nice of Jeff to share the flipping glory with Laurel.

Poor Jeffy thrown from his boat for the 1st time. But it provided good rescue practice for the rest of us.
