The Kennedys is an upcoming eight-hour mini-series chronicling the lives of the famous Kennedy family and the tragedies they have suffered. It will star Greg Kinnear, Katie Holmes, Barry Pepper and Tom Wilkinson among others. The mini-series was directed by Jon Cassar and will air on History Television in Canada in 2011. The mini-series was to be aired on History in the U.S. as well, however in January 2011, it was announced that it would not be shown on the American History channel. After various other broadcasters declined to pick up the mini-series, the U.S. rights were purchased by ReelzChannel.

I saw the first episode and it was very good. I think Katie is fine as Jackie,is anyone here old enough to remember what she sounded and talked like besides me?

i think based on this clip things look pretty good to me. Both actors were nervous about roles. There have been critized big time everywhere is sad stating Katie cannot play Jackie at all. wow it must be hard for her to receive all those negative comments but based on little that i have seen looks well for me :)
