  • Scarfs are generally only worn by American men when they are professionals. (Suits) Or where it is REALLY cold like where I grew up.

  • I see. So scarves are only for pros, eh?

  • PS. we have advent calenders here too :o)

  • Well I knew *you* would have one. So did you make one for the bf?

  • @9serenity99 con't also in answer to the scarf ? my dad wears a scarf and pretty much it depends on the person and how cold it is.

  • @9serenity99 'cont now we seem to exchange names and do almost a secret santa as a large family gathering and do our intimate family thing separate but even that is pretty much only one gift for the step mom and one for dad and vice versa. Church is attended xmas eve and they do a cantata and a xmas story...play or something sometimes done by the kids when there was enoough of them there arent anymore. We also do baskets that we gather and give to familys in need of gifts and food.

  • I love advent....I lived in germany when I was little because my dad was in the military and we did this.We used to open one present on christmas eve when we had either hot coco or egg nog and we always had to wait for mom and dad to go into the living room before we did we werent even allowed to peek. After my mom died seems so did a lot of our traditions. We also had a xmas village we set up every year along with her santas and the nativity set. We always decorated the day after thanksgiving

  • omg, this is like an exercise to increase

    foreign language

  • Not much of anyone wears scarves where I am, but it doesn't get to cold in Dallas. I do wear them though and I know two guys I have dated wore them also at times.

Every year I go look at Christmas lights in a near by neighborhood that goes crazy with them. There is also a mall that goes way out for Christmas that I make sure I go to at least once. And my family always has Mexican food on Christmas day,

  • hadn't thought about making one actually. I bought him a traditional one with pictures. Maybe if I have more time next year I could make one :o)

  • That scarf doesn't exist. It's just a legend.

  • Yeah, usually guys don't like to wear scarves (not at my school at least) except my friend Billy, who has a brown cashmere scarf, but I think that's mostly a joke.
