  • think you should take care of the blue smoke before attempting to make it look and sound good 0:23

  • It's not blue smoke. This was a cold start, so there is going to be some smoke on start-up and idle.

  • @4wheeler14 Yeah, that's standard. If you had blue smoke, that's oil in the intake = too much oil pressure. I'm @ WYOTECH studying for my ASE certs.

  • If your looking to make it sound good, without the cost of a full exhaust, i installed at glass pack on my cousins Moutaineer and it sounds great. All you need is a glasspack , and extra exhaust pipe, a slight angled elbow will help too sence when ever you cut the stock muffler off there is a slight differnce between the pipes. it was a quick job, took about an hour with a welder and cutting wheel.

  • Hey man nice mountaineer, check mine out with a glass pack

  • WOW I didn't know you had the same color Mountaineer as me.I like the exhaust.I had a friend that had his tip extended like that and he got a burn on his leg cuz it was hot.Just have to watch that tip when you go to the back.Take a video and rev the engine if you can. I know you have a rev limiter like me but see what you can do,lol!
