This is probably the only bicycle kick with the intention of scoring with a bicycle kick, not because the position required so. Timing is perfect. The point where the foot touches the ball is highest in the air among all bicycle kicks (similar to serving in tennis). In most other similar kicks you will see the footballer too low off the ground. That's why he falls on his back rather than on his ass or hands. The ball is coming directly from the side which makes it even harder. Best ever!

And this is only one of his great goals. No centre forward of today has his balance and composure. All you teenagers with limited memory should do a little tube searching. Maybe Romario was a better goalgetter, but in my opinion Van Basten was the most complete.
