On August 7th 2009 as most of you know I got married to my partner. A week ago I took Motorcycle lessons and passed. So I needed to go to the MVA in Beltsville, Maryland to get my Motorcycle License, then I thought while Im there I need to go get my name changed. Since I got married I changed my name to Mr. Justin B Terry-Smith which is not on my license. I also needed to get my address changed as well.
So I went to the Maryland MVA and take a look at the video and I will explain what happened.
This experience wasnt what I wanted but it wasnt a bad one. The people there were friendly and helped me out a lot. They were well informed and eager to help me.
But also think about all the loop holes we as LGBT people have to o through that many others do not. SUPPORT SAME SEX MARRIAGE
That's why me and my boo are going to Canada. Too much b.s in the states

Justin, you are a blessing.

for example, your side always mentions that a pastor has the religious freedom to discriminate against same sex couples in his church. But when he steps into the public arena, he is subject to discrimination ordinance laws . the same standard applies to your side on this issue.

In a private ceremony or church marriage, the state or society do not have a right to tell you who you can or cannot marry. however, as soon as you step outside the private realm of RELIGIOUS marriage and enter into the public sphere of CIVIL marriage, you are subject to the law and public opinion or vote because civil marriage is about public policy.

touche' !!!!! awesome comment about living by somebody else's religion...i love that..
when you said if you married a woman (eww lol..) it wouldn't be a big deal..they would allow you to change your name..i'm guessing it would be the same..as marrying a guy.. because the government is still stuck in the past and figure its common for a woman to take a guys name, but not a guy taking a woman's name....
oh finally, i really like the picture of you at the end..kind of retro meets modern.

I am glad you were able to see the good side of this and not let it cause you to act a certain way Justin. That says a lot about who you are. I think many times people forget that people on the other side of the counter are only doing their jobs and obeying the law. That was very cool that they told you about the loop that has always been there. As far as Christians are concerned, I am a Christians and I believe two consenting adults should be able to marry if they want. GOD IS LOVE
