Kaunas citys most attractive part is the old Centre, which is located between two rivers, the Neris and the Nemunas. It also has a museum known as the A. Žmuidzinavicius Art Museum that has a big collection of devil figures on display, causing the museum to also be known as the Devil's Museum.

The most important port in Lithuania is Klaipeda, also the third largest Lithuanian city. Visit the oldest, and largest art museum in Lithuania, the M.K. Curlionis National Museum of Art.

In Lithuania you can participate in adventure sports with a difference. Try shooting in a former Soviet Shooting center, or, if you would like some fish, drill a hole through the ice and snow, and do some ice fishing. You can also go on a snowmobile safari, or try your hand at canoe polo.

Vilnius hosts many summertime festivals, and performances at the Opera are inexpensive.

Sample the local cuisine at any of the numerous Lithuanian cafes. As an accompaniment to your main course you will need to try the perfect combination of Lithuanian cheese and Lithuanian beer.
