On "Larry King Live," James Carville, Rep. Michele Bachmann and others debate talk radio's influence.
Carville thinks right-wing radio hosts like to "one-up" each other, and "see who can say the nuttiest thing." He suggests the Republican party should move to a "methadone clinic" so they can "get off the heroin, all this crazy talk..."
Meanwhile, Bachmann argues: "The American people are looking to voices like Sean Hannity, Rush Limbaugh, Mark Levin..."
"It's 2%," replied King, who also grilled Bachmann as to whether radio hosts like Limbaugh should be the voice of the Republican party.
Also, Hill Harper suggests that "it's entertainment," and that the "news channel" on which Beck and Hannity appear "should be called the entertainment channel." Harper added that they're "just like Vince McMahon on the WWE."
