Simon Mayo, 1-4pm weekdays, BBC Radio 5 live.
Cult film director John Sayles joins Simon Mayo and Mark Kermode to talk about the shooting of his new movie 'Honeydripper', a film about about the birth of rock and roll and living in the Deep South during the 1950s.
I'm glad that someone like John Sayles is still around in an age of massive overblown blockbusters. It's great that someone like him is still working today and making such rich, intelligent films.

I dont think it was Liam Neesons problem I think its Simon Mayo`s problem with his interviewing technique Liam neeson sounded quiet but polite enough..Cant see what the problem is.Anyway Jason Issacs and all these brown nosing so and sos that want to get on Kermodes good side are just plain boring. Its a good show I have to say but only coz the rest of whats on radio is absolute garbage and excrement.
