(If anything listen to the last 25 seconds!) A small clip of Phantom Regiment Warming up (Serenade for Strings, Tchaikovsky, It was Phantom's 1983 opener) in Columbia Missouri. Across the street from MU stadium.

your like yea i walked around phantom, jealous?

  • @Conductorchild it because Phantom's so good that they can play a minor chord and their echo resolves itself.

  • @PhantomPhanEuph In 2006 they used only buicks but had the trumpets switch to baritones during their ave maria ballad. This clearly shows the superiority of the low brass.

  • it's like two corps are communicating.

  • @lolz989 well, yes.. I am lol

  • what show was it that they played this song!

  • @Conductorchild

Haha, it reminds me of their opener that year! Different key, but whatever.

  • @PhantomPhanEuph I didn't march Phantom ever (especially 2007) but it sounded a bit high to be a baritone. Sounded more like a mello to me. Then again im a euphonist and occasionally a trombonist and I've almost forgotten the sound of a baritone.

  • @SilverFlair In 2007 the lead players were playing baritones (remember, the soloist was a baritone player), 2008 started the trend of all Euphoniums. Buicks all the way :)

  • @peepers12 pretty sure they only use euphs

  • I think it's cool how the ratio of Euphs to Baris is reversed. Very cool
