Developmentally delayed. Doesnt look or act loke a 9 mo old child. At this age she she be verbally engaged even without real words. Check her for autism. Delays in speech is a sign of mental retardation.

Usually when u get spasm..it's about muscle growing or some sort maybe she is growing ?:)

my daughter is doing the same thing. she is 5 months and just started this a few days ago. she also makes a grunting sound when she tenes up. her ped. thinks its related to her GERD. please watch my videos and let me know if you think its a simalar thing happening or if its IS

Please watch my videos!!! Looks like what my daughter is doing...She does it when she is tired as well! Has global delays of about 3 months behind. Please let me know if you think this is the same thing! thanks!

I watched a video of yours and it does look like your daughter is doing the same movements. The good news is that my daughter's jerks are just a distant memory. They last a few months and then never happened again. She had an MRI and extended video EEG and they were not seizures. She is speech delayed, but nothing else.

did they say what movement disorder it was? The doctor hasn't seen the videos yet but I am going to show them. She has a ped neuroligist that she will see for a check up in a few months. When did the jeks go away? How old was she? Thanks so much!

She was about 12 months old or so. That was over a year ago.
