newly beheaded, skinned frogs in a fish market in vietnam. i watched (horrified) as this woman took sharp scissors, snipped off their heads, cut down the skin on their backs, slip the frog inside out from their skins, toss discarded skins in a pail, and the still leaping frogs into this large pan.

  • Scenario 1: hunters (human) spot a deer/buffalo or some other creature that can be used as food. Hunter attacks to kill. Nobody does anything to save the deer/buffalo (why should they?). This is a natural course taken to obtain food, where the 'superior' hunter kills the unarmed prey.

Scenario 2: hunters (polar bear) spot prey (human) to kill for food. Hunter attacks to kill. Why should anybody help the prey this time? If the unarmed human is caught, struck, killed & eaten, it is only natural.

  • Humans choose to help other humans obtain food by working against the prey and trapping them. So why not push a fellow human into the polar bear's path to help the polar bear eat too? You call that murder, but feeding the polar bear is just as justifiable as feeding another human. Hunters kill to eat. Humans are not superior to the polar bear. On this planet, they are just as insignificant as the other.

  • @rmtheg234 It is true that we have the ability to utilise our tools somewhat more effectively than other creatures. Humans cannot defeat bacteria in battle simply because the bacteria reproduce faster and more frequently, giving them the advantage of population. Bacteria can be utilised to become more powerful weapons than a rifle or even a nuclear bomb. If humans were to annihilate bacteria, they would ultimately be killing themselves. The planet needs bacteria to grow, but not humans.

  • @L0zz0 The workers at the factories don’t care about the animals; they leave dead animals right next to the live ones! This is comparable with the holocaust and Jews in the way these animals are treated just because what they are born into.

  • @L0zz0 The right way to obtain meat is to give the animals a nice life before slaughter. Pastures and open fields to play in and lots of space, instead of the overcrowded shacks with no light and very little food, water and no vet treatment until slaughter. Also the animals are fed horrible substances which make them grow bigger so they are fleshier; these substances damage the animal’s health and can even paralyse them.

  • @LordRyukDeathGod We're not #1 of the food chain I can agree on that but we're at the very top apex even, we do have the capability to attack any other form of life (single-celled organism, etc) or defend ourselves against it effectively due to our ability to use tools and meds. I may not be able to out run a charging lion but sure can kill with the right weapon;its our ingenuity that's made us to the very top you can't deny that, i hate what we become on most parts but that's the way it goes.
