Ben More (Mull) A Celebration!

On a long day out, we sail across to the Isle of Mull for a special celebration. Fellow hillwalker, Sylvia, completes her final, and 283rd Munro, Ben More.
A great achievement!
Ben More is the only island Munro, apart from the Cuillins on Skye!

We were lucky with the weather, as forecast hadn`t been too good! But apart from some cloud coming and going at the top, it was a lovely day.

A long day!! Well done to Sylvia, I have been stuck at 212 Munros for about 7 years now!

Not that I had ever planned to finish them.

@bealach Well that's an achievement in itself. I know some are close enough to do 4 in a day but 212 takes some weekends to complete!

Most done in the 1990s. I`m afraid the old legs aren`t up to it now!

Mostly occasional walks on Corbetts these days!

We were up on Ben More on Sunday 02 October 2011, the weather was fantastic as were the views. Well done on your achievement, I've only got another 270 odd to do now ;-).
