Well, OK, so I'm still struggling with it ... I lost a bit of steam after I couldn't get it open even after the upgrade. If you don't want to tell me outright, could you at least give me a hint about whether on this model I'm looking for sticky numbers? I was thinking I would be able to work from the left to right, and watching if when I tried to open it the number moved or not -- implying the bolt was able to pass unimpeded. You're in a lockpicking club; can you give me a hint?
Couldn't get this one to work for some reason, though I used essentially the same tool (slightly bent tweezers). A little audio would have been helpful describing exactly what it is you're doing.
Is there a certain angle you need to go in at? Does the order in which you do the modification to each number matter?
I forgot the combination to my lock -- it's just basically hanging useless on the bike. I think I could easily break the combo if I had this modification working.

You really just got to jam it back as far as you can, there is no order whatsoever. In order to get this to work your really going to have to push hard to bend the device that is back there out of the way and insure it stays like that.

Wow, thanks for the fast response... I've alternating for the last hour or so between trying to make this upgrade work and just trying to open the lock, but no luck. Is there anything (sound, feeling) that will let you know you've bent it far enough? I'll try really pushing. Maybe I'll need a harder piece of metal. I assume the bend in your tweezers is intentional, too?

Those tweezers are from a swiss army knife, they are the only shim/thin metal type of material that I could get this to work with. I don't made a very small bend in the tweezers and let them like "roll" around with the tumbler, then they continued to bend themselves into the perfect shape as i continued to force them down into the cavity. You will feel them slide under something, thats when you know.

This will come in handy if you know a way of decoding the lock, but find it hard to constantly have to move the wheels against the resistance causing mechanism

Also, In the first part of the video when I move the wheels it is not to put them in any type of order. I do this to show that before I apply that method, the wheels have resistance to them when I change the numbers.
Then after I apply the method, there is no longer any resistance on the wheels.
