Cirque Mystique Audition: Gene Starwind and James "Jim" Hawkins

Cirque Mystique Audition for Gene Starwind and Jim Hawkins (Outlaw Star).

Plot:
Gene and Jim are the founders of a small company called "Starwind and Hawkins Enterprises". Though they mostly worked as bounty hunters for supernatural criminals, they provided a wide range of services, from body guarding to auto repair, and so on, so long as the pay was good. On one such mission, Gene and Jim were on the trail of a well known gang leader of magic wielding bandits, worth 300,000 dollars. Unfortunately, they only found one of his underlings. Gene manages to beat him using his Caster, a gun made by Jim specifically to counter magical enemies. They manage to collect 2,000 dollars for capturing the thug, and while Gene is over enthusiastic over their prize, Jim is mindful of the grim reality of their situation. Because of the large amount of debt they've amassed from a loan-shark they both grew to detest, chasing after low-paying criminals wasn't enough anymore; Jim says they need a steady source of income. Still, Gene remains optimistic that they'll land a big job soon enough. But before they can discuss it further, a mysterious gentleman approaches them from behind: "Hello, boys. How would you like to work for a circus of mine?"

In Cirque Mystique, Gene performs during the shows as an exhibition shooter, wowing the crowds with various feats of marksmanship, while Jim uses his technical skills to provide repair and maintenance for the Cirque's equipment. Of course, if trouble ever arises, Gene and Jim are "encouraged" to help protect the Cirque.
