Thank you for ur comment mate!
U know, I personally LOVE the original piano score of Joplin's pieces, and I must admit I spent lots of time in listening to them on the TUBE, jus t because I really wanted to get the feeling of late 19th century ragtime music... I found some nice arrangements of Joplin's pieces for guitar, and I thought: "yeah, I am gonna play them!"... So my main aims were two: 1) showing to people some nice arrangements which I found of Ragtime music ....

@TetecaGuitar (1/2) I showed this recording to a few people. One of them said it's good technique but kinda pointless choice because it sounds much better in the original and there's little value added other than arrangement. I've listened to original and, maybe my ear is much better for guitar than for piano, I can say that the value added is substantial: in your recording I can hear all voice lines very clearly. In the original accompanement is kinda noisy and I have to concentrate hard to get

Thanks again!!! :-D
This seems to be a good transcription which does not distort the nature of the instrument. The execution is excellent, crisp sound and firm pace characterise the guitarist's style here. Well done!

@TetecaGuitar (2/2) ...the music. So there's definitely a lot of value of you being able to digest the original and then reinvent it on a guitar. (I almost want to say it sounds better on guitar: I understand there's a bias because I hear guitar better, but it feels like it's genuinely better on guitar :)). I just wanted to add "+1" to people who think that what you're doing is not a useless exercise.

2/2 ...for classical guitar, so if people want to play some, they can find them and maybe I can be helpful in showing them how I approach them! and 2) I just wanted to enjoy some of Ragtime music myself! :-D
So, I understand ur friend who said that there is no point in what I do in this video, but at the same time I think people who are not piano players should have the chance to approach some other music which otherwise they would never play. Hope I didn't sound silly! :-D
