  • FUCK WASHINGTON

  • @schnauzerlover1496 Anyway the main grievance the Colonist had with Parliament was not over taxation - and certainly not about representation. The Colonies believed that Parliament had no legal right to exersize any authority over them and that they were only answerable to the King. So when Parliament rejected the Colonists ideas of self-governance and tried to exersize the power it believed it had over the Colonies the rift was formed and widened.

  • @schnauzerlover1496 You do know that the Taxes Parliament tried to make the colonists pay were for the upkeep and defense of the Colonies dont you? The debt of the French and Indians wars were being paid off by British Tax-payers, the money that would have been raise from the colonies would have been spent on maintaining a standing army on the frontier to protect settlers from Indians and visa verse and to provide a policing force for the colonies.

  • @Jeremymayer Like most Americans, you are arrogant enough to think you know about Britain's government during this time, but you actually know fuck-all about George III, or the government. I bet they don't teach you in American schools that the colonists were still toasting the king DURING the revolutionary war, because they were allied to him against the British parliament.

  • Manchewl if General Washington hadn't done what we did instead of learning everday at 12:00 we'd be driniking tea and eating scones of which are bought by our parents hard earned money and sent to improve England not America. England is a terrific country, but we shouldn't have to pay them taxes when we don't live there.

  • you're thinking current, not past. back then, the french and the hessian were our only friends. a fact we never fully forgot

  • In A Way The Hessians Are Kinda Like The Nazis

  • hahahaha "vas is das??"

  • if war did not exist there would be peace if there was peace there would be no war and we could live more happily
