@In666Vein You're forgetting about the B18c5 Type R engine. 1.8l, 197 HP.

3 SG-e Beams 300 hp? Yes if it tune..the WTCC spec is only 285 HP..

@widnug i know all this because i'm a toyota technician and i took some classes in the Toyota academy, so i have the technical training documents and all that... :-p i'm not allowed to publish those tough :-(

@widnug VVTL-i isn't the same technology as Dual VVT-i.... dual VVT-i is a VVT system on both intake and exhaust camshafts, VVTL-i is increasing lift of the intake valves, wich also affects timing (ie opening sooner and closing later) VVTL-i was used to let the valves open longer than on VVT-i engines, cause' VVT-i was a bit of a compromise in high revs. the newest system is valvematic, this system uses VVT's on both camshafts but also has a variable lift so it's good in all conditions. grtz

Hondas are just popular so its all you see at the track. sr20ve motors shit on k20s and 4age blacktops shit on b16s and stay with gsr swapped civics. Stock for stock and chassis for chassis of course.

Wow these honda fans lacks intellect! 3sg-e BEAMS engine naturally aspirated engine produce well over 300hp plus! That's from 2.0 litre engine! Toyota rocks

The point is that,in my opinion the vvtl-i engine is a more improved engine than the v-tec and so it's better,since it was based on a v-tec motor... Despite it produces more hp for its displacement(1.800cc --->192hp) than the Honda Civic type-r which produces 201hp(now) from 2.000cc...I can tell you than in every speed and every dituation my car can outrun a Civic Type-r.Of course I am always talking for OEM cars.Mine now has an Apexi ECU,so it's much faster! ;)
