Family Guy was canceled in 2003 but due to reruns on Adult Swim and Increased DVD sales as well as popular demand it was allowed to start airing again in 2004.

Every time I see this ep and he gets to Firefly my heart sinks a little. Firefly was actually a quality show and as much as it pains me to say it, Family Guy just isn't what it used to be.
