first of all, bush was not admired. his final approval rating was 22%. second, liberals always fought for equality. the republican party at the time of abolishing slavery was the liberal party. the north was liberal (they are today) and the south was conservative (they are today). kennedy (democrat) introduced the civil rights act and johnson (democrat) signed it. the democrats today are fighting for gay rights. democrats have always fought for equality. you are misinformed. go fuck yourself.
