I follow Sir Stirling in his Lola MK I at Monterey Historic 2009. It was his first outing in the car and his first appearance at the Laguna Seca track in over a decade. Here he motors very carefully through the turns using only 3rd and 4th gears. He looked "pretty much like everyone else" but we know what he has done... and could still do if he wished. Great to have shared a lap with him!

Sterling Moss was at Laguna Seca in 2006. Mercedes brought over his SLR from the museum for the Historics (Chaparral was the mark) and drove Leno around the track in his SLR race car. All the Hall Chaparrals were there from Midland (from the Museum) as well as Jim and his son. It was amazing to see Moss drive the car as quick as he did that day knowing his age in 2006. It was as if he had not aged a bit
