I was gonna say the EXACT same thing lol.

All the best Connie, you'll be missed, the game needs more players like you as it is. Enjoy retirement, I'm sure we'll see you around.

Soooo he got waived !! today. If someone were to pick him up.i will cheer that team on.If he just retires he and his famly .im wish them both all the very best.He will be missed on the ice.

he is like Charlie from the It's Always Sunny :)

@stok3d99 I was gonna say, they must not have tested for cocaine in 2004!!! Just kidding Flames fans, calm yourself down.

@kirant Rumor around here (his hometown) is that when he retires and if his Alma Mater (the Golden Knights) are still failing (went from 22-5-0 to 5-20-2 in 4 short years), he might get offered the head coaching job. I'm not sure which I want more...seeing him with the Flames off-ice, or seeing back home. Both would be awesome.

Whenever Conroy retires, I sure hope he gets a front office job with the Flames. He's great to listen to.
Maybe the Fan 960?
Haha nah thats just Connie, he's always like that. One of the best interviews in the league, he's never at a loss for words. What a beaut.

Craig Conroy is class. When he played in St. Louis, he'd come into Barnes and Noble where I worked and grab coffee before heading to practice. Always has a smile, would chat about ANYTHING. He'd give you the scoop on a teammate or talk about last night's game. American boy who loves the game.
