You can hear the creak of bitter protest from the desk as the lardass Michael Moore, unable to lower his grotesquely bloated carcass without assistance, leans on it to get to his knees.

This is the moment I lost all respect for Bill Maher and Michael Moore, who once so proudly supported Ralph Nader for President. These two turncoats dropped to their knees and begged him to PLEASE sell out this country to the corporate-controlled Democratic party, all under the guise of stopping the corporate-controlled Republican party. Weasels! ....and remember, if you'd had the backbone to vote for Nader 4, 8, 12 years ago, this country would not be run by corporations today.

Democrats, republicans... There's no real democracy in the America. The corporations wouldn't allow it to happen. I know it, you know it, Ralph is still trying!
I used to belive that Michael Moore was smart, but looking at this... What a pathetic moment in the life of this brilliant fat documentarist...
So Al Gore loses because of Nader? Give me a break fanboys!
Why did you voted for Gore at first? You belived in the CHANGE bs? Look at the big CHANGE offered by the Democrats now, 2011...

Ralph Nader is a great man, she hit the nail on the head.

I'm with Jesse Ventura. There should be a "none of the above" option.
How awesome would it be if "none of the above" won? That would send a huge message!
-
Ever since Ross Perot got 20% of the vote...Reps &Dems secretly got together and conspired to keep a 3rd party from ever being on the ballot. ...Damn cheaters !!!

Sometimes being a team player means not running. Just because you have the freedom to run in a democratic system doesn't mean you should, democracy is flawed, and more choices doesn't make it any better.
-
@LedWilde There should be a "NONE OF THE ABOVE" option.

Mike Moore, the guy is a rich business man. No more, no less. He's a hypocrite. Bill Maher, I don't think he's too bright. I'm convinced half the stuff he says or believes in he makes up in his head and then believes it. He's not a political expert. A comedian. He's entitled to his opinions though. Nader is definitely the brightest guy there.

@Fmaack Exactly! I proudly admit I did not vote in the '08 election. Didn't want Obama. Didn't want McCain. Didn't want Bob Barr and I'm a Libertarian. I said screw it. I say voting for nobody counts as a vote just as much as voting for somebody. Why waste a vote on someone you don't want? So, I casted my vote for Mr. Nobody because to me that was the best option. So, get the vote out if you actually like a candidate.
Why do people blame Nader for giving Bush the presidency?
Let me make this perfectly clear:
Al Gore won the election in 2000.
Al Gore won the election in 2000.
Al Gore won the election in 2000.
Ralph Nader could not have been a spoiler because Al Gore DIDN'T LOSE!!!!!!
Why can't Democrats understand this?

Absolutely GlobalP! This was disrespectful to both Ralph Nader and the process. These guys aren't fit to shine Ralph's shoes and they want take away his right to run and silence his supporters. The head of the DNC, Terry Mcauliffe sued Nader in most states to get him off the ballot. THANKS GUYS! They still failed with Kerry and now Maher has what Oliver Stone calls "a sneak Bush administration" in Obama. I hope he's happy.
