@FundedByTheMob How are people being pushed?

If you're a beer person there's a couple really good plases that I alway visit when I'm up in the bay area. Beer Revolution and The Trappist.
-
@rikskelton138 the clowns in this video are pushing good folk out their neighborhood without the courtesy of even giving them a nod.
they/you are in your own world & don't give two blinks to environment around you. gentrification of oakland is no different than colombus pushing their agenda on the native americans.
you're in good company on this page riskelton - just another imperialist minded white fool who condones the delusion of being affable. fuck you.
-
I just want to say that oakland is 5% white, 65% black and 25% asian yet you featured know local home grown oaklanders. Thumbs down.
-
no one cares what the time is in OAKLAND. No one has to be to work anyway. Also I think people bitching about the fact that only white people are in this video is ridiculous. If you want a Asian independent film THEN MAKE IT YOU ASS HOLES!!!! These people obviously live in Oakland too. That's like bitching about a independent film out of Milwaukee, by black people, that doesn't have white people in it.

@jaeshawn yes please do

@marygotjuice douche

You have got to be joking me. Every single person in this video is white except for the few people making vietnamese sandwiches. What a disrespectful load of shit.

This is not the Oakland that i live or grew up in, This is the "New Oakland" that has been gentrified. How the fuck are you going to make a short film about Oakland and have only white people in it? This video is disrespectful to Oakland, its rich diversity and its strong socially conscious history. I'm 100% sure that the person who made this video has no clue about Oakland and its history. Keep the disenfranchised people disenfranchised and let the outsiders come ruin this beautiful city? bs!

It is located in Chinatown. I can't believe your comment got thumbs up. Did they ever say they were Chinese? No, they said "this shop in Chinatown". Fyi, many Vietnamese eateries are owned and run by Chinese.
