How many songs have Joey, Tom and Brad penned? Not nearly as many as Steven and Joe. So The Toxic Twins deserve all the ATTENTION on songwirting alone ... never mind their incredible stage presence. It's not fair for people to dis on Steven because of something someone else said. The manager made that comment to him and Joe, Steven did not say it. What he meant by there are 'truths that hurt' is that people do have the perception that him and Joe are "more important" to the band because they are front and center. Him and Joe obviously love the other guys too or the band would not be back bigger, badder, and stronger than ever and STILL rocking our asses off after all this time!

Without Tom,Joey and Brad, Aerosmith wouldn't be Aerosmith. Whitford is a great guitarist and probably the better but doesn't flash it.

Their the most talented and creative of the band plain and simple. If joey was a crazy good drummer like bonham, or peart he would get attention but he's not. And if the bassist was great like geezer butler or jpj he would get more attention but the hard truth is he's not so no more whining please.
