I think he should'nt send Anakin with THIS order to Temple. He should'nt kill younglings and infants. Knights, Padawans, Masters - but not them.

I think even dumbest Wookie knew infants in the cribs can't to be traitors of Republic and younglings from first lightsaber's class ca'nt plot any murder.

And pacifists from the Senate. No. It was his biggest mistake - bad beginning.

What he should order? Give the infants back to families? Begin new training of younglings and call them Imperial Jedi?

Oh is that why he got dumped into the reactor core of his death star? And why did he need a tube down to said reactor core in his office? Was there a reason he didn't send an army of those loyal clones with anakin to mustafar to protect him from getting his limbs chopped off? Or was it part of the plan to make sure that vader 20 years later would have the mecha body needed to grab the emperor with one hand to lob him into said tube?! most complicated suicide plan EVER?

We all have our opinionons ...based on what and how much we read...mine is sidious...and nobody can convince me otherwise...his merr presence shifted the balance of power...long before he even became the emperor...

No ... sidoious is sayd to be the strongest sith,even by Lucas himself...the republic will be reorganized into the first galactic empire.......no sith has ever achieved that but sidious.

@armenius25 Darth Bane was the strongest. He practically founded the sith. The new sith that is. And lets not forget that he almost (so very close) unlocked the secrets of immortality.

@AdamWeith that is a good point but for countless years there was an empire. an empire that had control for longer than the New Sith Empire. The only thing was that no one ruled for long. So yes. Palpatine did rule longer than any other but the other empires did last longer.

Yes, many Sith have created their own empires. But no one ruled an empire in such complete control of the galaxy as Sidious. The only one that come close is the New Sith Empire, which Sidious is referring to when he says "Once more the Sith will rule the galaxy!".
