They didn't use the fire extinguisher because it would've seriously damaged the engine dude. Using coolent spray on engines would put out the fire and keep the compartment from combusting again... With F1 engines costing around $600.000 now it's a no-brainer to put out it out replace a few pumps, injectors & electrics than spray it with a fire extinguisher.

They're not going to spray an extinguisher since it's a million dollar car and it would damage all the components

Why not just use a carbon dioxide extinguisher?

they didnt seem to want any extinguisher when the security rushed to get one.
They prefer their small spay bottle.

yeah, lol. Using a lil spray bottle to extinguish the fire.
It had some sort of liquid inside, duno what it was.
Even security rushed with fire extinguishers, but they didnt use them.
