Sidechain compression is employed nearly always in both trance and house. I know what u mean tho. Trance is faster and more melody/energy based, where house is slower and more about the progression and groove =)

the way i look at it is, prog house can include trance, techno or electro influences and arrangements with little to NO SIDECHAIN COMPRESSION, lower tempo and focusing more on the groove and melody within the song and its breakdown, while prog trance can include house, techno, electro or ambient influences and arrangements WITH SIDECHAIN COMPRESSION, high tempo and focusing more on an emotional rush and melody within the song and its breakdown that gives that hands in the air moment

Nah its not, trance and house come from 2 diff sides. They sorta meet at progressive where the borders between em are rediculously blurry. Sometimes people just refer to it as 'progressive' cause they can sound so similar. But this is definately progressive house and is a House subgenre. First biggest diff between this and prog trance would be the tempo, house is slower. Then theres the general groove and minimalism typical of prog house.
It's not trance, it's progressive house =)
But yea, its a tuuune!!
