@fudgedogbannana I actually think th biggest issue with doctors is the Hyp Oath ! If doctors were subjected to a real Quality system such as ISO 9000 the medical industry wouldnt be protected from gross repeat malpractice , incompetence and the massive fraud they promote with the insurance companies and bog Pharma...sorry to burst your Hippocratic bubble !
No scientists do not sign up to promise not to kill people for all of the above ! Like politicians they also dont sign up "not to lie"..

@jakeisawesome91 All anybody has to do is tune in Canadian CBC on their Sirius satellite radio. There is often news how in northern Canada the permafrost is thawing, causing lots of problems with houses. Also lots of problems for the Inuit (aka eskimos) who want to continue their historical way of life.

lol. i can't believe people have not yet figured out that "climategate" is one of the most exaggerated controversies of our generation. and even sadder is how global warming doubters actually think this gives them license to shit over the environment, despite all the additional scientific evidence we have on ecological impacts beyond global warming.

So it is illegal to be a hacker and find out the truth, but it is not illegal to manipulate data.
Anyone that has taken a chemistry or biology class knows that this manipulation of data takes place on a regular basis. Its called fudging. Real science is replicated, like gravity. The weather is up for debate, it is a NON SCIENCE.

If Doctors did the same, they would be in violation of their hippocratic oath and may loose their license to practice, are scientist who hold doctorate degrees in their field not subject to the oath?
