My family is also Dutch, is so nice to have the words in Dutch printed on the screen.
They both did so much for the children in this world, and for peace, all for what is needed to help people, animals, nature alive and well! The two of them were so unique! What a pair, giving so much love, giving so much! I really respect them both, and remember John for what he stood for, more than his music. As he said that is how he wanted to be remembered...not for his music. To him, music was a gift .

Maybe Jacques died, found wonderful wildlife and experiences and called for John to join him. Lovely thought. Enjoy it both of you.x

John Was Awesome
I love this video and just the fact that i can only imagine the pride that John Felt When he Did this for jacques Cousteau
And the Pride that Cousteau Felt when he heard this song
"Calypso The Places you'veben to the things that you've shown us the stories you tell"
I miss John

@mKierstenk : No, it's dutch ;-)
So ironic, both died in 1997, but maybe they're now reunited?
maybe they're standing at the pacific grove. Jaques asking John what went wrong at oct 12th en John's asking if Jaques didn't prefer to die at the ocean....
Maybe, who knows...
Just a thought of me...

Message to: Earthlinked. You're absolutely right. I never realized that until you wrote it here. I remember John's death. I was onboard a ship while serving with the U.S. Navy. We were heading for Japan. I heard the news over the radio and I didn't want to believe it. His songs, sung to myself while on many midnight watches aboard ship, brought me home when I was thousands of miles away. My little sister was killed at five years old and John was one of her favorites. I'll always love his songs.
