Mars claimed the same thing and several countries have claimed Mars chocolates are testing positive for melamine. Some of the candy named was M&Ms, Snickers and Kit Kat. Who owns Kit Kat? In the U.S. Hershey makes Kit Kat, but I guess it's Nestle in Asia. Lotte has has many products recalled. Google it. Lotte and Hershey are partners in a candy manufacturing plant in China. Be careful who you trust. These big food companies have a history of lying to consumers. It happens all the time.

oh and more to add FDA scientists explained that when melamine and cyanuric acid are absorbed into the bloodstream, they concentrate and interact in the urine-filled renal microtubules, then crystallize and form large numbers of round, yellow crystals, which in turn block and damage the renal cells that line the tubes, causing the kidneys to malfunction
