  • I disagree. He doesn't do it 100% of the time either. Hell use it a lot these days, but you just cant paint everything with that color.

  • Jojo Mayer proves you're wrong ;)

  • This Gruber stuff is only ever demonstrated on pads. I think that's because it's not as applicable to real drums as people say. Playing loose and allowing rebound is great, but it doesn't happen the way the free-stroke occurs on the pad. There's just not enough time between strokes.
