Not a VAE engine! It's CFM. None of Air Canada's airbus fleet have VAE engines. Also he probably thinks it's an A321 because that's what his ticket showed. They probably had an aircraft change.

fabianz03 is right on this one. It's not a 321. You can tell because this wing shows 3 large flap tracks (3rd one shows when flaps are retracted), and one small track. The A321 has 2 large flap tracks and 3 smaller ones on each side. If you look at the video of this plane landing, you will see it has inboard spoilers as well, so it's not an A319 either, This is clearly an A320. My dad flies these, and I've been on several in my lifetime. Cool video though. Talk about "no delay on departure" lol
