This is a backwards compatibility comparison on playing Crash Twinsanity on the PS3 60GB (PS2 version) and the Xbox 360 250GB Super Elite (Xbox version) requested by KARTMAN769. The PS3 60GB's backwards compatibility is absolutely perfect, there's no lag, the graphics are outstanding and you'll never get any picture quality loss during cutscenes where as the Xbox 360 250GB Super Elite's backwards compatibility has a bit of lag in the introduction logos and at some points during gameplay, picture quality loss which means it goes all blurry during cutscenes but the gameplay graphics are outstanding just like the PS3's graphics. I highly recommend you get the 60GB model of the PS3 because it has all the best features, it has PS2 backwards compatibility, 4 USB ports (where as all the other models only have 2 USB ports) and there's this secret opening bit where you can put your memory sticks (including PSP memory sticks), SD cards and CF (compact flash) cards so you can view and share your videos, photos, music etc... on your PS3 (the 20GB model has all that as well but the 60GB has more disk space and the early 80GB model which came out in 2007 also has those features but less PS2 games work on it than on the 20GB and 60GB models, the graphics are choppy and some graphical glitches appear during gameplay which is why I highly recommend the 60GB model) and all the others don't have that so there's no point in getting any of the other models as they are a waste of money and not worth buying and the best sony can do with they're new models is upgrading the memory and updates, big deal you can just replace your PS3's hard drive with one that has a higher amount of GB's and you can download the updates on the PS3's you've already got and that includes the 60GB version with absolutely no doubt. The reason why the PS2's were a massive success in selling loads of models was mainly because of the backwards compatibility with PS1 games. People with PS3 models other than the 20GB, 60GB or the early 80GB models or people that don't even have a PS3 just don't know what they're missing and I'm glad I bought the 60GB model because it's the best one. PSP's, Xbox 360's and Nintendo Wii's are brilliant too, don't get me wrong. I found out that you'll need a hard drive on your Xbox 360 in order to get backwards compatibility because the hard drives have the emulation software which allows you to play original Xbox games, if your Xbox 360 doesn't have a hard drive and you want backwards compatibility on it then I highly recommend you buy one for it. Yesterday I tried uploading the video in HD but it just takes too long so now I'm uploading it like this, it doesn't matter if the megapixels are in HD or not it won't even make a difference on the graphics (unless you compress them and they'll start to look like a piece of crap recorded from those shitty old cameras). Now-a-days I can't be bothered to upload long videos in HD anymore because it takes ages to upload, it takes about a day to be honest.

  • COOLPRO195 please tell me how did you run an Xbox game on your Xbox 360, you need some emulator? or I can place the disk and work?

  • @TheAlexdari i didn't get it to run on my Xbox 360, you need an Xbox 360 hard drive which has the backwards compatiblilty emulation software for original Xbox games to run but mine came with a hard drive so i won't need to buy one, if that particular original Xbox game you want to play doesn't work on the Xbox 360 then it's not compatible but if the game you want to run actually is compatible and it's not running for some strange reason then contact microsoft

  • I dont have a Ps3 , and i dont have any playstation fat version , i wanna buy a CECHA01 Model which is supposedly to be the best ps3 , but i have a question the ps2 game ty the tasmanian tiger 3 cant be played on ps2 slim version only in ps2 fat versions , i have heard that cecha01 has the 100% compatibility because it has the ps2 hardware but does the 60gb ps3 has the ps2 fat hardware or ps2 slim hardware? and where do you suggest me i can buy that model because in ebay it cost 750$us

  • @bonedicoot i don't know which PS2 hardware the PS3 60GB PAL model has and i don't know where i could recommend you to get the model you want but it was worth asking btw is the CECHA01 model another version of the 60GB version?

  • @IIIslay i know, right? it's not fair that the NTSC-U/C (US/Canada) and the NTSC-J (Japan) PS3 60GB models have full PS2 backwards compatibility and the PAL (Europe/Australia) models only get 70% of it, Sony should've been fair by giving all models 100% of the PS2 BC

  • @COOLPRO195 Mmh that's weird...

  • @IIIslay my Crash Twinsanity disc is PAL and if i have the 60GB model then obviously it would be 1st gen unless you mean which country it came out when, it came out in Japan in December 2006 and mine is PAL so that one came out on the 3rd March 2007 and that would probably be 2nd gen in that case

  • @COOLPRO195 Oh yeah, uhm is your twinsanity dvd ntcs, or pal? And which generation ps3 do you have? 1st or 2nd?

  • @IIIslay i have the PS3 60GB model, you can tell by just reading the title

  • @COOLPRO195 They're in a good condition. I also searched it and more people had this problem ( not many ) Which ps3 do you have? The old one or the new? How many gb?
