The smallest, most lightweight and cheapest 35mm adapter available for DV and HD consumer video cameras. For cameras with 30mm to 49mm front filter diameter.
This allows you to attach and shoot with photographic lenses to obtain the true filmlook by having a much more shallow depth of field.

  • Does anyone know what kind of wider lens, not neccisarily wide angle, i can put on my simple SONY HDR CX150?

  • @xMoNSTAMsFiTZz If you want a wide angle lens, go for something like a 16mm, 17mm or 20mm Canon or Nikon via the EnCinema SLR lens adapter. Nice camera by the way!

  • Amazing video....sorry to say I already own a second hand twoneil dof adapter which I want to attach my older canon FD lens. I bought a converter since I need to go from FD to nikon. I was looking to get something without any glass inside. But the seller sold me a converter with glass in it. It seems to magnify. What do you recommend in this circumstance? do you see as a problem?

On a second note, what software did you use to create your graphics on your video? very cool...

  • @hughhjo Thanks for your interest. You'll definitely need the FD with glass...if not, then you wont be able to focus past a few feet. Thats the negative of working with FD lenses on EOS body or EOS mounts. We like old lenses like that, but the Nikon or M42 mounts lenses from the same era, do not use glass converters.

We used adobe premier and with a bit of motion tracking in after effects to make the graphics. Thanks for watching!

  • Hi, I have a Canon HV40 and I'd like to install a 35mm dof adapter or in.

I am a noob at this stuff, could you tell me EXACTLY what I need to buy? Like a shopping list :D I would really appreciate it!

  • @vtc31 You'll simply need the EnCinema adapter $199 (mention this posting for a discount on the adapter) and you'll need a Canon EOS or Nikon lens. That's it. We recommend a 50mm f1.8 lens to start with and that can range from $50 to $120 online or in some camera shops. Hope this helps!

  • @VidAtlantic Thanks so much this really helped!

  • @cjfalco1 You'd need an SLR lens (fast speed prime lens like the 50mm f1.8) and our EnCinema adapter. The lens hood isnt necessary, but can be found very cheap online.

  • Hi , I ve got a canon vixia hf200, and I wonder what do I need in order to look like your camcord,

  • @blastlaughs The EnCinema is smaller and more lightweight than any other adapter out there. Also, other adapters like that only allow you to use Nikon lenses. Because the EnCinema is made with the EOS mount, you can use pretty much any SLR lens via converter rings that only cost a few dollars. Canon, Nikon, Minolta, Pentax, Sony, Leica, Zeiss, etc.
