@XDBBC .. i was fortunate enough to see him play at iridium about 3 years ago... if you look at 3:25 you'll see a grey haired fellow right by his feet... that was where the hostess seated me that night. i could have reached out and touched his foot... what an evening!

i met him after the show, and got his autograph on a CD of his music i'd bought there... and you are right, he was an exceptionally friendly, charming, and gentle man. i'll treasure that memory for the rest of my life...

There will never be another Les Paul but I wish ny Dad could get to meet him and play a tune with him ! Ray Cummins heard my Dad and liked what he heard said it was like Les Paul ! It is too ! Mixed with Chet and his own style !
