Snakes and Snakes may not be immediately aesthetically appealing, however what it lacks in polished visuals, it more than makes up for with a clever mechanic and neat level design. It quickly become apparent that the title is a play on the name 'Snakes and Ladders'.
In Snakes and Snakes, however, you use snakes as a means of moving up, rather then sliding down. You must attempt to avoid the moving snakes and use the 'snake ladders' to climb up. Collect all the hearts in each level to create a ladder up to the next level but be careful - a snake will run you down as soon as it sees you on its platform.
The game only has one sound effect - when you die. A sound effect to reward you for getting each heart would have been a nice addition.
