  • Thanks so much for posting!!!!

Rare treat to see Jack Paar...he never did game shows (it was his wedding gift to them).

  • wow, I did not know that. It was really cute to see Allen and Betty act so lovingly towards each other. Usually Allen is kind of formal when hosting the game. It's too bad he left us so early.

  • Yup, he did it as a present (I read in Betty's book)

It was very cute! Notice how giggly Betty is here! He's formal, but I think it's hard for him to be when Betty is on there. She eggs him on to not be formal.

I love how he was like "Should I be adding these passwords up?"

  • @chialeux514 Look it up on Wikipedia. It IS: PAAR.

  • It's spelled "Parr", not "Paar". It you don't like it, you can kiis my aas.

  • What a great show, and not a metrosexual among them.

  • GOD! Betty and Allen was the sweetest couple EVER! I loooove them! Thank you SO much for posting! :D

  • I just got out of kindergarten when Allen Ludden and Betty White were married; as well as when this show originally aired.

  • careful honey its a family show. PRICELESS

  • @ACuriousDanceretc Actually both Jack Paar and Johnny Carson guest starred on several G-T game shows in the 50's and early 60's. Several times in their careers when they were unemployed, G-T would bring them in to be guest panelists (or on What's My Line, mystery guests). Out of gratitude, both Jack and Johnny continued to make guest appearances even after getting network TV shows of their own.

  • I love Betty's laugh.
