Idiot, cost of electricity, petrol/gas is an INTERNATIONAL PROBLEM. EVERYWHERE prices are increasing. Musharraf did not initiate a plan to increase the GLOBAL prices because doing so would make him feel good and happy. There is really only so much the gov can do to maintain low prices...they have already provided a lot of subsidy.
As for Inflation in general, it is a BY-PRODUCT of economic growth. There is inflation in china, india and so many other places.
