  • wow i'm a fan of your blog bro awesome work here. can you explain how to get a good guitar LEAD tone? i mean whats the typical mic position for lead tones???

  • @TechcoreIsSexy I usually place the mic straight on the cab somewhere between cone and dustcab. I recommend everybody to start with the mic at the center and than move it around to get rid of that high 10kHz hiss.

  • Great video...although that stupid (kidding) Diezel head makes getting to a sound worth micing up that much easier! Ha! Thanks for posting this.
