Q: i get this in ascent-world and ascent-logonserver
"connection failed due to: acces denied for user 'root' @sql: main database
initialization failed. exiting."

A: you have another sql server running, you can shut it down by uninstalling mysql or press CTRL+ALT+DELELTE and go to processes tab, and shutdown mysqld-nt. Now, start 'start database' again.

Q: How do i make portals?
A: use the database editors included in the repack

Q: I get an error when i start the .exe files: This application failed to start because application configuration is incorrect. Reinstalling the application may fix this problem

Q: is the realm list 127.0.0.1 for my server aswell?
A: 127.0.0.1 means "your computer", so yes.

Q: The account creator doesn't work, even as administrator.

A: make an account manually: download sqlyog, and connect to the database with root as user and root as pw, and go into the 'characters' database. Right click on accounts and choose view data. Add an account.

Q:How do i make it public?

A: For lan just change the realm address in the realms.conf to your lan ip.

Q: What did you put for acc id?
A: for the first acc, put 1
for the second, put 2
for the 66th, put 66

it doesnt really matter, aslong as it is a number and no other account has the same id

you have to go into your database and do it from there go to the accounts table under characters

Bluedevilsz The patch list is for the patchs blizzard relsease you want to delete that and just have it like this

set realmlist 127.0.0.1(Stands for your computer) if you go public with it then it would be what you want it to be like

set realmlist (your DNS or Hamachi IP)

I got a repack... didn't work. I used HeidiSQL and looked at the character information but it just said like ERROR something incorrect on the MYSQL file and on the HeidiSQL shut down! Any thoughts?
