Muslim's observe this year as the 1433 because of when the Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) migrated from Mecca to Medinah, Islam is NOT 1400 years old it is much older, It was the first religion dating back to the first man, Adam.

Please do research before you put any kind of statment. Islam is the oldest religion in the Universe. Islam is the religion of Adam, Noah, Ibrahim, Issac, Ismail, David, Jeses and Mohammad PBUH. Islam means Submission to the will of God. & all the prophet bring the same message. For example. President of USA is Obama, 2nite President is on TV. so you know Obama is on TV. 4 yrs back it was Bush. So in time islam was know as different name but defination and description stays the same.
